EDUCATION
Ms. Baez-Luzondo received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in 1986. She earned her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1990.

Ms. Baez-Luzondo is an Of Counsel attorney at Casablanca Legal Group P.L. She practices in all areas of immigration law, including but not limited to family immigration, business immigration including visas for investors, professionals and intra-company transferees, and work visas for skilled and unskilled temporary workers. Moreover, she assists individuals seeking employment and family based adjustments of status and in petitions for naturalization. Ms. Baez-Luzondo also represents foreign nationals in all aspects of client advocacy including proceedings for asylum, waivers, deportation and cancellation of removal.

Ms. Baez-Luzondo has extensive experience representing individuals and corporations, such as talent agents and production studios seeking non-immigrant work visas and petitions for adjustment of status for immigrants with extraordinary ability including leading actors, actresses, international singers, musicians, music, theater and television producers, film, theater and television show directors, television anchor persons, television and radio “on-air” talent, as well as leading experts in all areas of media production. Ms. Baez-Luzondo has represented several of the most renowned artists and production professionals in Latin America and in the major Hispanic television networks in the United States. She is fluent in Spanish.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Ms. Baez-Luzondo is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”), and has served as member of the Congressional and Port Procedures Committees for the South Florida Chapter of AILA. .

Ms. Baez-Luzondo is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Ms. Baez-Luzondo has over 16 years of experience conducting legal public service radio and television programs. Currently Ms. Baez-Luzondo hosts Casablanca Legal Group’s radio and television call-in talk shows, “INMIGRANTES.” These programs seek to provide guidance regarding immigration law to Hispanic communities in the United States and Latin America.
